Ella Cru is an independent boutique at 15 Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury, SY1 1BX. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Ella Cru is the controller of personal information collected through this website.

Information we collect

We may collect the following information when you choose to provide it:

• Your telephone number, if you include it.
• The subject and contents of an enquiry.
• Your email address and marketing preferences when you join our mailing list.
• Basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and server logs.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in a general enquiry form.

How and why we use it

We do not sell personal information or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Forms and service providers

Website form submissions are processed by Web3Forms so that the enquiry can be delivered to us. Web3Forms acts as a service provider processing the information on our behalf. Submission data may include the form fields, IP address, time of submission and referring page.

We also use service providers to host and protect the website and to deliver email. They may process limited technical or contact information only where needed to provide those services.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as approved contractual protections.

Google Maps

The Visit page offers an optional interactive Google Map. The map is not loaded until you choose to load it. If you do, your browser connects to Google and Google may receive technical information, including your IP address and device information, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy. You can use the address or directions link without loading the embedded map.

How long we keep information

• General enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless we need them for an ongoing customer matter or legal reason.
• Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or we stop operating the list.
• Technical and security logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the website.
• Records needed for tax, accounting, contractual or legal purposes may be kept for longer where the law requires it.

We periodically review the information we hold and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of your personal information.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Ask us to delete or restrict the use of your information.

No internet service is completely secure, but we take proportionate steps to protect the limited information this website handles.

We may update this notice when the website, our services or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
